Contest Stories and Pictures

The Bristol Contest Group formed in the early 1990s as part of the RSGB City of Bristol Group in order to organise and participate in Radio Contests of all types.

With the Internet becoming available in the mid-90s we started to publish reports and pictures taken at the time. These show our travels, adventures and results from 1993 to the present day.

From the early 1930's the City of Bristol RSGB Group took part in many contests run by the RSGB. Details and pictures of early contests are rare, but some can be found on the Bristol RSGB History Pages developed by Andy Cowley M1EBV.
