Up to 2009 we were able to use the site on Lansdown (owned by Bath Race Course) for CW and SSB Field Days. After that time it became more difficult to get permission to cross the racecourse. So we started to use a site in Marshfield near where we stored our equipment.

To Compensate for the poorer site we got two Optibeam OB11-3 beams which kept our winning streak going.

A change in rules in 2017 reduced the maximum power to 100 watts. We concentrated on getting as many Multipilers as possible as you can see from the picture above and managed to win the Assisted section, though our score was considerably reduced from the previous year.

That was our last SSB Field Day for the time being.
